How to Play
HazelBlock is a free browser-based block puzzle game — think 1010! or Woodoku. The goal is simple: place pieces on the board to fill rows and columns and score as many points as you can.
The Board
You play on a 10 × 10 grid. Each turn you receive a set of block pieces in the tray below the board.
Drag & Drop
Tap or drag a piece from the tray and drop it onto the board. Pieces can go anywhere they fit — they cannot overlap existing blocks or extend outside the grid.
Clearing Lines
When you completely fill a row or column, it clears instantly and you earn points. Clear multiple lines at once for bonus points!
Game Over
The game ends when none of the remaining pieces in the tray can fit on the board. Plan ahead and keep open space to survive longer!
Scoring
Points
You earn 1 point per cell for each piece you place on the board. Clearing lines awards bonus points based on the number of cells cleared.
Streak Multiplier
Clear lines on consecutive turns to build a streak. Your streak multiplier increases with each successive clear — 2×, 3×, 4× and beyond — multiplying your line-clear points.
Combos
Clear multiple rows and columns with a single piece placement to score a combo. The more lines cleared at once, the bigger the bonus.

LTrivia Continue
When the game ends, you get a chance to continue playing by answering a trivia question correctly. Get it right and your game keeps going!
Leaderboard
After each game, enter your name to save your score. Compete with other players on the high-score leaderboard and see how you stack up.
Works Everywhere
HazelBlock runs in any modern browser — no downloads required. You can also install it as a PWA on your phone for a full-screen, app-like experience.
